Combined Piano/Vocal Biography
Anna Maria Dwyer, pianist & mezzo-soprano, has worked as a collaborative pianist with Granite State Opera, Boston Conservatory, Plymouth State University, Gordon College, and John Brown University, as well as with several notable singers from around the country. She currently accompanies and studies voice at Janice Edwards' studio. Anna recently made her professional operatic debut as Rosina in highlights of Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia with Orient Heights Music in Arlington, MA. She is engaged to sing with Longwood Opera and Masterworks Chorale's summer concert series. And in December '08 and January '09, Anna will be the lead role of The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors which she is also producing as founder of Mermaid Music Productions. Vocal Biography
Anna Maria Dwyer, mezzo-soprano, recently made her professional operatic debut as Rosina in highlights of Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia with Orient Heights Music in Arlington, MA. In March, she sang Die Zauberflöte as the 3rd Lady with the Janice Edwards studio in Manchester, New Hampshire. This summer, Anna will be singing as a soloist for Longwood Opera (Needham, MA) and Masterworks Chorales (Lexington, MA) summer concerts. In December '08 and January '09, Anna will be the lead role of The Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors which she is also producing as founder of Mermaid Music Productions. In the past, she has sung with the Granite State Opera chorus in Carmen and Die Zauberflöte.

Anna has been singing solos since she was eight but has more recently studied classical singing after years of performing rock music with various original and cover bands. She is also a soloist in Cappella Clausura, an early music group that specializes in music by women composers. Anna will be doing her first solo rock concert this year, performing music of various styles such as Stevie Wonder and Seal. Piano Biography
Anna Maria Dwyer, pianist, completed her studies in piano with an emphasis in performance at John Brown University (Siloam Springs, AR). She has worked as an accompanist with Granite State Opera, Boston Conservatory, Plymouth State University, Gordon College, and John Brown University, as well as with several notable singers from around the country. She is currently an accompanist at the studio of Janice Edwards. In over twenty-five years of performance experience, Anna has played keyboard with several rock bands and churches. Anna also dabbles in composition and recently established a home recording studio. Her current compositional interests include filmscoring, classical and electronica.
