Mermaid Music Productions presents - Amahl & The Night Visitors by Gian Carlo Menotti
Auditions are today!
Come audition for a wonderful Christmas production! We'll be rehearsing in July and performing 2 shows in December and possibly 2 more shows in January. We are currently looking for shepherds and shepherdesses of all ages and a boy soprano to play Amahl, one of the main characters, as well as volunteers for other tasks. We will be performing with small orchestra.
We would like to audition for the following roles:
Amahl - a boy soprano, vocal training is necessary for this role
Page - We need one as a backup
Shepherds - 4 Basses, 4 Tenors, 4 Altos, 4 Sopranos & 4 Children

1) Costumers
2) Set builders
3) Seller of Program ads
4) Program designer
5) Graphics designer
Auditions:
When: May 17, 2008 1pm-6pm (Can't make it? Just call and we'll schedule an appointment)
Where: Windham Presbyterian Church in the sanctuary (1 Church Road, Windham, NH)
Andrew Gaydos and Anna Dwyer will be running auditions.
Please bring:
1) One prepared song. Sing something that shows off your best. Also, please bring music for the accompanist and make sure that the music is in a binder, ready to go.
2) One prepared section from Amahl and The Night Visitors - once we receive your audition request, we will send you the part to prepare.
3) 1 page resume and headshot
